"Love Is" video documentary (to be filmed before the wedding day)

'Love Is' is an elegant, ten to fifteen minute video documentary about you and your partner. We interview the two of you communicating to us, details of how you met, what you love about each other and your plans for the future. Then it's off to a nearby location to shoot footage of the two of you.

The whole shoot taking around two to three hours.

We then edit this footage together with a sound track of your choice. The end result? A timeless memory of the love that you both share.

We complete the 'Love Is' DVD before the big day so you are able to screen it at your wedding reception if you wish.

Terms and Conditions

Bookings & Deposits

Inexpensive Wedding Photography reserves wedding dates for clients’ far in advance and holds your date for your exclusive use when your deposit or payment is received. When we accept your deposit or payment, that date is closed and all requests from potential clients for that date are declined. For this reason, the deposit is non refundable and all other payments made thereafter are partially or non-refundable, subject to the postponement and cancellation policies described below.

If package booked is an Upgrade or Special offer & payment has been paid in full, same refund policies apply as if package was a normal package (ie: deposit of $300.00 forfeited).

Signing of Contract

Upon receipt of deposit or payment, a contract agreement will be drawn up & forwarded to you within 3 days.

For insurance purposes, contract must be signed and returned to Inexpensive Wedding Photography head office within 7 days of receiving it.

If signed contract agreement is not returned to Inexpensive Wedding Photography within 7 days, all monies paid will be forfeited and client will be liable for any outstanding balances owing as per cancellation policy described below as well as your date cancelled.

If your date is cancelled and you rebook that date or another date, a subsequent deposit will be required.

Payment of Balance Owing

Balance of package fee to be paid in full at least 14 days prior to wedding day.

If payment in full is not received prior to assignment date, booking will be cancelled and Client will be liable for all monies owing.

If paying by cheque, funds must be cleared at least 14 days prior to wedding day.

If package booked is an Upgrade Offer, the FULL amount must be paid within 7 days of confirmation of booking.

Cancellation of Booking.

Cancellations must be received in writing in hardcopy and electronically & signed by BOTH bride & groom.

If assignment is cancelled after confirmation of booking and deposit received, deposit is forfeited.

(If package booked is an upgrade offer and total amount is paid, a sum equal to normal package deposit ($300.00) is forfeited)

If booking is cancelled 8 days or more prior to assignment, a loss of income rate totalling 15% of total balance owing will be required and MUST be paid within 7 days of cancellation

If booking is cancelled 7 days or less prior to assignment, a loss of income rate totalling 25% of total balance owing will be required and MUST be paid within 7 days of cancellation.

For non payment within 7 days of cancellation, a 10% per annum penalty fee will be added to balance owing.

If payment is not received within 7 days, a mediator will initially be appointed by Inexpensive Wedding Photography to resolve the issue at Clients’ expense.

If no resolution is agreed to after this, then legal proceedings will be implemented.

All solicitor, debt recovery & court costs accrued in the recovery of payment by Inexpensive Wedding Photography for non payment will be at the Clients’ expense.

Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances (Cancellation or Postponement of Wedding ONLY), payments already received will be refunded less deposit paid and no penalty will apply.

Proof of cancellation or postponement MUST be received in writing by three referees along with their contact details.

Referees must be other commercial entities that were booked for your wedding. eg: reception venue, church, suit hire store, florist etc.

If proof is not received in writing within 7 days of cancellation, standard refund policy applies. (See above for details)

Upgrade Packages & Special Offers

If package booked is an Upgrade or Special offer & payment has been paid in full, same refund policies apply as if package was a normal package (ie: deposit of $300.00 forfeited).

Payment Before Delivery & Price Guarantees.

No portion of any order or package may be delivered until paid in full. All orders for prints or albums must be paid when the order is placed. Pricing for packages is guaranteed for 90 days after your wedding. After that, current prices will apply.

Illness or Injury to Photographer.

In the highly unlikely event that Inexpensive Wedding Photography’s appointed photographer is unable to perform the Assignment due to illness, injury, acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Inexpensive Wedding Photography’s control, Inexpensive Wedding Photography will attempt to replace the photographer with another photographer for the Assignment from among Inexpensive Wedding Photography’s professional staff photographers.

If Inexpensive Wedding Photography is unable to supply Client with one of our own photographers, we will endeavour to recommend & seek out another professional photographer to cover the assignment.

Inexpensive Wedding Photography shall not be responsible for the services provided by any such replacement photographer, and Inexpensive Wedding Photography shall not be liable for any damages or injury sustained by Client or claims brought by Client against replacement photographer, if any such replacement photographer retained by Client, fails in whole or in part, to perform the Assignment.

If Inexpensive Wedding Photography are unable to find a replacement photographer, Inexpensive Wedding Photography’s liability to Client shall be limited solely to a refund of all money paid by Client to Inexpensive Wedding Photography, and Client’s sole remedy shall be receiving a refund of all monies paid by Client to Inexpensive Wedding Photography.

Dangerous Conditions.

If, during the Assignment, a Inexpensive Wedding Photography staff photographer is exposed to:

(a) conditions which imperil or cause the photographer to fear for their safety, or

(b) objectionable or illegal acts to which photographer and his/her crew do not wish to be a party or witness, then the photographer reserves the right to immediately protect photographer’s interests, including but not limited to a cessation of the Assignment, leaving the Assignment location(s), and/or terminating this Agreement. In such circumstances, Inexpensive Wedding Photography will not refund any monies paid by Client. Client shall indemnify Inexpensive Wedding Photography from any damage or injury that the photographer may sustain, arising from, or related to, any hazardous conditions which imperil or cause the photographer to fear for their safety, while performing the Assignment.

Injury or Death to Photographer and or Damage to Equipment

Client will be liable to compensate Inexpensive Wedding Photography for any damage or loss of income caused by Client and or their representatives or guests to photographers equipment including but not limited to cameras, flash & reflector equipment, motor vehicle(s), computers etc. as well as injury or death to photographer & or Inexpensive Wedding Photography representatives whilst on location performing assignment services

Copyright of Images

*Limited License Usage

*Images on disc are for your own private use only.

A maximum of ten (20) copies of each image are permitted to be printed under limited licence usage terms & conditions and Australian and International copyright laws.

No extra copies are permitted to be printed without the written permission of Inexpensive Wedding Photography & payment for additional license usage is paid.

Additional copies of disk are available for purchase.

Website Images

Images placed on the Inexpensive Wedding Photography website www.inexpensiveweddingphotography.com are placed for viewing purposes only and are low resolution quality. Images on website are watermarked for copyright protection.

Images may not be copied, printed, saved or kept in any form whatsoever without the written consent of Inexpensive Wedding Photography & payment of license usage fee is paid in full.

Images for Purchase

Images placed on website are available for purchase and can be ordered through Inexpensive Wedding Photography.

Images purchased are printed on high quality photographic paper in high resolution quality and watermark removed.

Images are also available for purchase in digital format.

Images will not be shipped to purchaser until full payment is received.

Images for Advertising & Promotion

Inexpensive Wedding Photography, as copyright owner of images, reserves the right to use images for marketing, promotional & advertising purposes.

If Inexpensive Wedding Photography choose to use any Client images, as a courtesy to Client, we will contact Client prior to usage.

If Client wishes not to have images used for marketing purposes, Client must forward in writing, a signed declaration of said decline to Inexpensive Wedding Photography within 7 days of contact re usage by Inexpensive Wedding Photography.

If signed declaration not received within 7 days, images will be used for said purposes.

Other Photographers

It is understood and agreed that no other professional photographer will be permitted to photograph or take pictures at the wedding or reception without written consent by Inexpensive Wedding Photography at least 7 days prior to wedding day. Additional costs may apply if Inexpensive Wedding Photography is not sole official photographer.

Flash Photography

It is understood & conveyed to guests that flash photography is not permitted to be used by guests whilst photographer is taking official wedding photographs as this could interfere with photographer’s camera settings thus distorting images (over exposure, blurring, red eye etc).

If Client & Photographer agree & time permits, guests will be able to use flash photography once the official photographer has captured the shot.

Additional Services or Additional Time

Photographer is hired by client to perform assignment for length of time as detailed in chosen package

If client wishes to extend time of photographers’ services or to perform additional services prior to or on the day of wedding, additional costs will apply at a rate of $175.00 per hour or part thereof.

This amount must be paid in full to Inexpensive Wedding Photography within 7 days after wedding date & prior to any images being shipped to client or uploaded to website.

Attendance at your wedding rehearsal to familiarize with ceremony etc.

All images are post edited and produced to ensure outstanding image quality.

A minimum of 500 high resolution images transferred to disk ready to print.

Additional disk with same images in low res ready to put onto Facebook

Selected images produced as a DVD slideshow with background music of your choice.

Selected images put onto a secure page on the IWP website with password access to share with family & friends.

This package also includes a 2hr photo session on a day that suits you both for any purpose you wish prior to or after the wedding day with a minimum of 100 images on disk or the Love Is video documentary to be filmed prior to your wedding day.
